Do You Know Which Global Brands Pay Dividends?

global investing

Do you know which of the 20 most valuable brands in the world pay dividends? Interbrand recently announced their list of the 100 most valuable brands in the world. I thought it would be interesting to view the top 20 in the list and see which ones pay a dividend. After all dividends are the key to successful investing.

Here are the top 20 brands (dividend payers in green):

  1. Apple
  2. Google
  3. Coca-Cola
  4. IBM
  5. Microsoft
  6. GE
  7. McDonald’s
  8. Samsung
  9. Intel
  10. Toyota
  11. Mercedes-Benz
  12. BMW
  13. Cisco
  14. Disney
  15. HP
  16. Gillette
  17. Louis Vuitton
  18. Oracle
  19. Amazon
  20. Honda

18 out of the 20 brands pay dividends currently only Google and Amazon don’t pay dividends, but that may change in the future. Companies with strong brands can charge higher prices, which mean higher profit margins that result in greater profits for shareholders. One of the many factors that I consider before investing in a stock is one with a strong brand.

Focus on purchasing quality companies (with strong brands) when they are undervalued, and you will do very well for yourself.

Yes, Interbrand is a very good source! But I don´t buy shares from HP or amazon, because that don´t fit to DGI. Best regards Dividenden-Sammler from Germany
