With over two decades of investing experience, and over a decade of being a value investor, Kanwal has put all his knowledge and experience in creating the only course of it's kind in the world. Kanwal's ability to teach complex subjects in an easy-to-understand simple and concise manner has been the primary driver for the creation of this company. A few words from Kanwal...

I have been an investor since 1988, first starting with term deposits (GICS), mutual funds, ETFs, and then individual stocks. Over the years I became more and more dissatisfied with the performance of my mutual funds and with the advice of a number of advisors and financial planners.

I decided that in order for me to become a successful investor I had to pick role models and learn from them, learn from their mistakes and successes. Why reinvent the wheel, when I could study the practices of successful investors and just copy what they did? However, I had to find role models who did not win the lottery, inherit money, or had rich parents. They had to be role models who became successful based entirely on their own skills.

I realized a common theme with all my role models, they all advocated value investing, and they all advocated investing on your own. I spent the next 3 years teaching myself about value investing, interviewing other value investors, and perfecting my own investment strategy.

Once I proved to myself that value investing did work, I began teaching others and showing them the benefits of investing for themselves by themselves.

Simply Investing allows me to combine my passion for teaching with my enthusiasm for investing, the best of both worlds! I love to see people succeed; I want my students to apply what they've learned and reap the rewards.
